Ted's Baskets
Just a bit late but better late than never!! Found these little baskets and thought they would just fit the bill. Ted's choice of colours are super and I hope you like the fabrics I've used Ted. The photo dosn't do justice to the fabrics - they are quite a lot brighter than shown. Not very good with camera I'm afraid.
LynB's Basket row
Lynette asked for the Upright Basket pattern from "Quilter's Cache" so this is it! Lyn also asked for her quilt to be in greens, and provided us with a FQ of a greyish green. I found a light background with a matching green in it and then I picked up on the darker green for the basket (in a basket weave design) for the band around the top of the basket I used Lyn's fabric and a contrasting Indian Red colour, again, with the grey green colour in the print.
This method of piecing I found quite time consuming, BUT I also found it to produce VERY accurate blocks. I am very pleased with the results and I hope you are too Lynette!!

This row was supposed to be 'baskets' but spooky's theme is seaside so I adapted the row to suit and made her a row of buckets, all you need now are some spades and you are ready to go make lots of sandcastles - I have a 3 year old who would love to come knock them down for you. :o)
